Description of position

The position Senior Project Manager Finance is, on an international level (Nordics, Germany & Netherlands), responsible for the overall project management for the Finance function in the division. This includes ‘owning’ and continuously prioritize an updated project map, as well as drive and steer all ongoing projects together with the projects business (content) owner.

The role reports to Director Financial Projects and is a central function in the finance organisation. The Senior Project Manager Finance will also play a vital role in the overall Arvato Financial Solutions organization by liaising with senior management as a trusted advisor, as well as communicate and work closely with all country financial controllers, business analysts and the shared services team. The role will need to establish and maintain communication with several stakeholders in all parts of the organization.

The position should be located in the Nordics or Germany, and frequent travelling is expected.

 

What you are expected to do:

  • Owner of the project roadmap for Finance, providing a total overview of all projects including resource needs, timelines, risk matrix etc.
  • Overall responsible for follow-up and communicate on all ongoing projects within Finance. Communication will be to senior management, colleagues within the finance organization as well as other stakeholders
  • Resource planning to ensure that a realistic resource outtake can be done, both for Finance resources but also resources from other departments (IT, HR etc.)
  • Continuously conducting risk assessment and plan for countermeasures where needed
  • Be the ‘driving force’ ensure project moves ahead as planned
  • Motivate and ensure that project resources prioritize projects as agreed
  • Being open to travel on a regular basis

 

What you should bring

 

  • 3+ years’ experience working in project management. Experience with the financial services industry and/or finance and accounting topic are a plus
  • Strong leadership skills; being able to motivate and get necessary ‘buy-in’ from all stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills to different audience groups in both verbal and written English and preferably a Nordic language
  • Strong time management, risk management and planning skills
  • Good conceptual skills, logical and structured thinking
  • Being able to identify issues, structure and mitigate risk
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • MSc or BSc in Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar
