Working here, you would work together in agile DevOps teams with colleagues across our offices in Northern Europe. This role has a backend development focus, where you’d work aligned with our API-First, PaaS-First strategy, as well as micro-service architecture.

Working in one of our teams, you will be creating and maintaining clean, secure, tested, stable and documented APIs. Your responsibility will also include implementing automated tests at API level, together with test automation engineers.

 

The job in brief

  • Participate in the entire development lifecycle
  • Work in agile teams including product owners within business and engineering
  • Develop back-end services and web applications using .net
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
  • Gather and address technical and design requirements
  • Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features
  • Be up to date with emerging technologies

 

Required skills

  • Strong knowledge of back-end development and cloud architectures such as Azure, AWS or similar
  • Good understanding of message based application architecture
  • Understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as HTML5, CSS3 and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Understanding accessibility and security compliance, OWASP principles as well as user authentication and authorization
  • Experience of working with db schemas, data migration, transformation, and scripting
  • Working knowledge of migrating existing applications to the cloud
  • Be proficient in continuous deployment, integration and release concepts and processes
  • Knowledge of automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Experience of modern code management and tooling (Azure DevOps, Git)
